Lead Designer & Team Manager working with a multidisciplinary team delivering digital products across various industries
I'm Emily, and I've spent more than 10 years as a Lead Designer and Team Manager at a digital agency in the West Midlands, leading a multidisciplinary team delivering websites, ecommerce platforms, mobile applications and digital products for clients across sectors including retail, automotive, recruitment, leisure and healthcare.


Throughout my career, I've particularly enjoyed working on complex digital products where there are multiple user needs, business requirements and technical considerations to balance. My role has involved leading projects from discovery and user research through to UX strategy, interface design and delivery, while collaborating closely with developers, stakeholders and clients.
The aspect of product design I find most rewarding is solving problems for users and continuously improving experiences over time. I enjoy analysing user feedback, identifying areas of friction and using those insights to shape future iterations that deliver better outcomes for both users and organisations.
Having spent many years in a fast-paced agency environment, I've developed strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills, and I'm comfortable managing competing priorities and complex projects.
I'm now looking to move into a dedicated product design role where I can have a longer-term impact on products and services, contribute to strategic design decisions, and continue developing my skills within an organisation that values user-centred design and continuous improvement.
